  Another product to make life a little easier with the D1. This Lens Spanner tool makes it easier to remove and replace the glass form the protective lens.

  It is CNC machined from brass bar stock and is designed to self center in the retainer ring so the fine threads don't get damaged. the handle end is shaped so either a 1/2 12point socket or box end wrench fit and well as a 13mm for most of the world. you may need to use it the first one the first time to help break the glue loose. 

  If you are replacing the glass for the first time it is glued in, I recommend soaking the whole thing in Acetone or Finger nail polish remover, for at least an hour, before trying to un screw the retainer ring. The glue is not necessary as the retainer ring holds the new glass firmly.

 NOTE I DO NOT sell the glass replacements, there is someone else already doing that usually in the Facebook D1 classifieds group.

 This comes as a single piece and DOES NOT come with the lens cover that is just for reference.
